Do I need a forklift licence to register?
No. Plenty of the work we fill needs no ticket at all, including pick packing, storeperson and general warehouse roles. A licence widens what we can put you forward for, but it is not a barrier to registering. Tell us what you hold and we work from there.
What tickets and licences do I need for logistics work in Brisbane?
It depends on the role. Warehouse work often needs an LF or LO forklift licence. Driving roles need the right class for the vehicle, MR, HR or MC. Some sites ask for a white card, an RSA of load restraint, or a dangerous goods licence. If you are missing something that would open up more work, we tell you what is worth getting.
Is labour hire pay better than permanent for warehouse and transport work?
The hourly rate on labour hire often looks higher because it includes casual loading. Permanent roles trade that loading for paid leave, sick days and job security. Neither is simply better.
