Tool Maker -Long Term Career Development

 A family owned business on the Southside of Brisbane  has been growing steadily and recently expanded its press operations. The current tool room is being upgraded with a newer CNC machining centre, CNC lathe, upgraded bigger EDM wire cut machine and other equipment.

The tool makers main role will be to maintain and repair the existing fleet of  and customer owned tooling as well as provide input and design into new tools and equipment.

The team already has 2 tool makers and requires more to keep up with the expected demand and keep the work in house.

The following skills are a must;

• CNC machining expert
• Wire cut experience
• Press tooling manufacture and maintenance
• Ability to work on and design progressive press tools will be highly regarded
• Experience in the automotive industry will be highly regarded
