Shipping Officer – Domestic and International

With a proud global heritage dating back to 1950 this world leading manufacturer of food processing, conveyor, weighing, scale, flavouring and packaging equipment that is committed to advancing industry is appointing an experienced Shipping Officer to their Team.

Your Next Role:

With a focus on ensuring the timely delivery of manufactured equipment to both local and overseas customers this appointment will have you:

• Working within operations and the yard where goods are landed and customer freight is packed ready for shipping
• Supporting the office team with the delivery of accurate shipping and equipment records
• Preparing packing lists for parts and equipment being shipped
• Prepare quotes for shipping
• Manage sub-contractors in relation to packing if engaged
• Recommending improvements to related processes and procedures

To ensure you succeed you will possess:

• Demonstrated ability to be hands-on to ensure deadlines are met
• Experience with domestic and international shipping
• Hold a current Forklift Ticket
• Be experience working with transport companies and freight forwarders
