Diesel fitters and mechanics service, maintain, diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles, plant and equipment. What We Screen For
Trade Qualification and Experience
Certificate III in Engineering – Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent. We look for demonstrated post-trade experience on equipment directly relevant to the employer’s fleet.
Diagnostic Capability
Candidates need to demonstrate they can diagnose faults systematically and work from service documentation without constant supervision. Experience with OEM diagnostic platforms is expected for most roles.
