Key responsibilities
- Assembling components, parts or subassemblies accurately in line with drawings, specifications or work instructions
- Performing quality checks at each stage of assembly to ensure output meets required standards
- Identifying and reporting defects, missing components or assembly errors before products move downstream
- Operating hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures and assembly aids relevant to the product type
- Maintaining accurate production records including quantities, defects and completion times
- Following WHS procedures, PPE requirements and safe work practices throughout the shift
- Supporting line changeovers, cleaning and end-of-shift housekeeping

- Demonstrated experience in an assembly, production or manufacturing role
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow assembly drawings or work instructions
