Inventory Controllers are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of stock records across warehouse and distribution environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducting cycle counts, stocktakes and reconciling variances

  • Coordinating inbound and outbound stock movements and adjustments
  • Generating inventory reports and communicating stock status to operational and management teams
  • Supporting demand forecasting and replenishment planning
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy

What we screen for

  • Demonstrated experience in an inventory control or warehouse administration role
  • High proficiency with WMS and/or ERP systems (SAP, MYOB, Oracle, NetSuite or similar)
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail, particularly in reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Ability to work across both physical warehouse and desk-based environments
  • Clear communication skills for reporting to management and working with operational teams
  • Experience with cycle counting methodologies and stocktake coordination

Licenses and Tickets

  • Forklift licence (LF) — advantageous for roles with a hands-on warehouse component
  • White card — where site conditions require it
  • Relevant tertiary or vocational qualification in logistics, supply chain or business (advantageous, not required)
