Your New Opportunity
You’ll lead a large, established team of supervisors, leading hands, boilermakers and welders, with a direct line to the owner. No layers between you and the decisions.
- Own production scheduling, labour planning and workshop capacity end to end
- Drive weld quality and compliance to AS/NZS 1554, AS4100 and ISO 3834
- Lead daily production meetings and set the quality standard the whole floor works to
- Develop your supervisors and tradespeople into the next generation of leaders
- Build the Lean systems that let the workshop scale with the business
To Ensure Your Success:
- You are Trade Qualified and a natural leader
- You will bring demonstrated experience across steel fabrication, manufacturing or heavy industry
- Welding Supervisor or Welding Inspection qualification (AS2214 or AS1796)
- Working knowledge of AS5131 and Lean Manufacturing
- Be calm, decisive and be hands-on providing support to staff when needed
