The Opportunity

Youngbrook Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturer in Brisbane’s Inner East who are looking for an energetic labourer to assist their spray painting team in a busy workshop.

This is a great opportunity for someone chasing ongoing work with plenty of overtime on offer. You will be joining a great bunch of blokes in a team that looks after each other.

What’s on Offer:

• $33 per hour plus penalty rates
• Plenty of overtime available

• Ongoing casual role with the opportunity to go permanent after 6 months
• Occasional site-based work

The Role

You will be working alongside the spray painting team, helping prep and paint industrial manufactured products. This is a hands-on role with variety across the workshop.

Day to day you will be:

• Prepping products ready for paint
• Masking and taping off components
• Assisting the spray painters throughout the painting process
• Moving product around the workshop safely
• Cleaning equipment and keeping the paint area tidy
• Helping out in other areas of the workshop when needed

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong work ethic and a good attitude
• Previous labouring or workshop experience
• Spray painting experience is a bonus but not essential
• White Card (needed for any on-site work)
• Reliable and able to work well in a team
