Day Shift offering an Immediate Start 

A temporary to permanent position offering great working hours of 6:00am – 2:00pm, Monday to Friday!

 

Your New Position:

We’re looking for reliable team members who can deliver an exceptional work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be trained to take on the position of Shift Powder Hand which includes the movement, accurate measuring and weighing of compounds for the manufacturing process.

Day to day duties will include: 

• Mixing and blending of dry products for small and large batches in accordance with quality standards for the shift manufacturing operations
• The movement of raw materials from the warehouse to the manufacturing operations for production
• Safe forklift operations
• Assisting with picking, packing and wrapping of orders as required
• Assisting the production machines when needed

To ensure your success will this role you will demonstrate the following: 

• Current LF (Forklift License)
• A fitness and the ability to perform manual handling
• Be reliable to support the Day Shift Team commencing at 6:00am and working until 2:00pm Monday to Friday
• A mathematical ability and attention to detail to perform accurate calculations and measurements

You will enjoy taking responsibility for carrying out multiple functions in a warehouse administration capacity, confident in your ability to complete tasks, such as receipting, requisitioning and despatch duties for the distribution of all inventoried items. This is a hands-on role, that will have you on a forklift loading and unloading trucks as required and following through the inwards and despatch processes end-to-end while maintaining a close relationship with your key internal stakeholders.

To ensure your success you will demonstrate experience with but not limited to:

• Current and valid High-Risk Work License (LF)
• Pick and packing of inventory items
• Experienced in cycle counting with high volume inventory
• Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound deliveries
• Have sound knowledge of MRP systems and SAP
• High levels of customer service skills to maintain relationships with your key internal and external clients
• A demonstrated understanding of freight and logistics documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• MS Office skills with Word and Excel
