In this role, you’ll lead a small team, sharing your expertise in the repair and manufacture of high-quality furniture and fit-out solutions. Our projects span a variety of sectors including healthcare, aged care, retirement living, hospitality, office, and commercial spaces.

Construction Supervisor – Residential Development Project

Best regarded for the creation and delivery of outstanding homes, villas and townhouse estates within well planned residential communities in Brisbane, this established development group is looking to secure a Residential Construction Supervisor to deliver the key onsite requirements for their next stage milestones.

With the opportunity to take on this lead role that has been created through the retirement of the Construction Manager, you will secure an exceptional handover and the support you require to understand the project before you take full ownership of stage 3 and any items that present from stage 1 and 2.

To ensure your success you should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of building and project timeframes, budgets and client specific requirements
  • Experience working with trades and contractors ensuring that all subcontractors are working in accordance with specifications and plans
  • Ensuring site compliance to legislation as it relates to WHSE
  • Understand and monitor project progress to ensure building timeframes and budgets are achieved through;
  • Attending Client progress meetings as required
  • Supervise the delivery and distribution of materials onsite
  • Daily Supervision and provision of direction to Trade personnel onsite
  • Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of quality records for the site
  • Maintain the construction program and deliver quality in workmanship to meet the project objectives of excellence
  • Ensure at all time the project site is maintained in an organised manner

Your checklist for success:

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications and White Card
  • Strength in reading and interpretation of technical drawings and plans and reviewing any plan discrepancies on the site
  • Previous experience working with a site Supervisory Role ideally within town house projects
  • Current Queensland Drivers Licence
