Location: Coopers Plains (Western Suburbs, Brisbane)
Shift: Day Shift – 10-hour days, excluding Public Holidays

You will be working with a leading Australian manufacturing group known for producing sustainable and
high-performance building products used across Australia and New Zealand. The team focuses on strong
communication, safe work practices, and delivering high-quality shutdown outcomes.
About the Shutdown
You can book yourself for the full shutdown or simply let us know the days you’re available, and
we will schedule your shifts accordingly. This project offers steady hours, weekly payroll, and a
supportive leadership team that values teamwork and efficiency.
Work Scope
Mechanical inspection, maintenance and repairs of fixed plant equipment, including:
- Replacing bearings and chains on drives and conveyors
- Repairing gearboxes and completing oil changes
- Removing equipment for overhaul and reinstalling after service
- Repairing pneumatics, fixing leaks and replacing components
This shutdown suits fitters who enjoy hands-on mechanical work and take pride in maintaining plant
equipment to a high standard.
Requirements
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Experience in mechanical and maintenance fitting across varied plant applications
- Basic hand tools (specialised tools will be provided from the on-site tool store)
- Full shutdown availability preferred — partial availability still welcomed
Site Induction: Pre-start induction required.
Pay & Conditions
Pay Schedule: Weekly, paid directly into your nominated bank account.
