Customer Service Specialist – Import Air & Sea

With a global reach and a proud heritage in shipping, this market leading group has a suite of services that covers all aspects of Freight Forwarding including Imports, Exports, Sea and Airfreight, Warehousing & Distribution, Customs Clearance and are now expanding their Import Air & Sea Customer Service Specialist team.

As a Customer Service Specialist with local Freight Forwarding experience, you will excel in this challenging, supportive work environment. Based near the Brisbane Airport and reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients. Training and on-going support will be provided by your manager; however, you will be ready to ‘hit the ground running’ and take the reins for the follow;

• Customer Service for Import customers – Air & Sea
• Customer Queries
• Liaise with overseas offices, agents and external suppliers
• Prepare Customer Reports
• Customer Quotes
• Track & Trace
• Client visits as required

To ensure your success, you will possess the experience and skill in the following, but not limited to;

• Freight Forwarding Experience Essential
• Recent or current Customer Service experience
• Customer Centric Culture – Willing to go the next level to assist your clients
• Establishing strong working relationships with your clients, agents and external suppliers
• Proactive approach to your client portfolio, always being one step ahead
• Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic
• Team player, but able to work autonomously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Happy friendly disposition and a great sense of humour
• Cargowise experience is ESSENTIAL
• Willingness to assist other departments as required
