Care Services Manager – Aged Care Supported Living

Are you looking for a real leadership role that will have you managing all care aspects for this supported living Aged Care Community across HR, Management and Care

The Group:

Responding to the rapidly growing home care and support services market and partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, which include Government, Individuals, Retirement Village Operators, Health Care Professionals and Hospitals to deliver quality of life and in-home care services, the need to appoint this important community care position is actively on the hiring agenda.

Your New Appointment:

With a flat management structure, you will report directly to the General Manager and enjoy collaboration with the Care Manager, Consultants and the Care Team to ensure a responsive and individual delivery of required services are managed for a community of 75 residents of which 52 are requiring care and support.

You will enjoy consulting with Clients, Families and your Team to design, monitor, review and coordinate care plans following comprehensive care assessments.  You will consult with Registered Nurses on case and care matters, engaging clinical nursing expertise to assess, plan, monitor and review complex clinical care elements along with but not limited to; working with the Groups Executive Manager, suggesting options and opportunities for the development and expansion of the client services business.

Your Success:

Critical to your success and pivotal to this role is your desire to work with the aged, your advanced interpersonal communication skills; accuracy in maintaining and managing comprehensive and confidential client files – consistent with legislative and regulatory requirements, stakeholder engagement experience; the ability to manage, develop and mentor your team and build culture; your Qualifications around Community Services or equivalent discipline coupled with your demonstrated experience and knowledge of and in a community-based care a service delivery environment.
