Full time Monday to Friday

We’re looking to secure a further reliable Team member who can deliver an exceptional work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be trained to take on the position of Material Handler which includes the movement, accurate measuring and weighing of compounds for the manufacturing process.

 

Day to day duties will include: 

  • Mixing and blending of dry raw materials in readiness for the production operation to produce small and large batches of manufactured product
  • The safe and careful movement of raw materials from the warehouse to the manufacturing operations for production
  • Assisting the Machine Operators and wider Production Team with manufacturing activities which could include the packing, wrapping, movement and shredding of faulty stock as required

 

To ensure your success with this role, you will demonstrate the following: 

  • Be physically fit and have the ability to perform manual handling
  • Be reliable and available to work from 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
  • A mathematical ability and attention to detail to perform accurate calculations and measurements

What your day-to-day looks like:

  • Ability to value all customer interactions and strive for a customer-first mindset in all that you do
  • Professional handling of customer communication and interaction through both email and incoming calls
  • Scheduling the repair enquiries and bookings to support customer work orders
  • Following procedures to create repair orders and closing out work orders
  • Liaising with the Service Technicians to ensure all required information is available to ensure the repair work to the required healthcare equipment can be carried out as required
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules and processing invoices once completed, whilst providing at all times an exceptional experience to customers
  • Professional handling of customer service via incoming email communication and phone calls
  • Keeping internal systems updated, ensuring accuracy and the integrity of information

Plant Location:  Coopers Plains – South Western Suburbs

Work Scope:  Mechanical inspection, fault finding, repair and installations across the site manufacturing operations.

Shifts Currently being Supported:  Day Shift (6am to 2pm) Monday to Friday | Afternoon Shift 1.45pm to 10pm | Night Shift 9.45pm to 6am | Day Maintenance Projects 5am to 1pm | Saturday 5am to 1pm | Sunday 5am to 1pm

Site Induction:  Online induction pre-start and day one site orientation

Requirements:

  • Experienced Mechanical & Maintenance Fitters across varying applications
  • Trade Qualified with a proactive approach to maintenance activities across the operation
  • Top Box or Basic Hand Tools and PPE with all additional tooling being supplied by the internal tool store
